So Much Bettor, a seven-year-old gelding by Bettors Delight, is the most recent addition to OSAS. A winner of close to $80,0000 during his racing career, So Much Bettor hails from pacing royalty.
His second dam is Town Pro, a member of the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame and a multiple O’Brien Award winner including Horse of the Year in 1990. She was campaigned by the late Stew Firlotte and driven by Doug Brown.
Unlike a lot of talented distaffers, Town Pro became a very successful broodmare once her racing days were over. Her most successful offspring is the $3 million winner Darlins Delight who in turn produced the $1.1 million winner Darlinonthebeach.
So Much Bettor, has just started his under saddle training under the watchful eye of the horse whisperer, Bert Mollica who operates one of OSAS’s foster farms along with his wife Susan.
