OSAS is pleased to welcome two geldings to our program, one pacer and one trotter, Cams Lucky Sam and Boogie Woogie respectively.
Iron horse Cams Lucky Sam spent the last few years of his career racing at Rideau and Three Rivers. In total the son of Camluck faced the gate 177 times for $154,000 in earnings.
The eight-year-old comes from a long line of tough competitors. His brother, Betting Exchange, is still competing and winning as a nine-year-old and has more than $830,000 earned to date. His full brother is the $720,000 winner Wellthereyougo.
Boogie Woogie, a son of Ken Warkentin, last raced in 2014. The winner of $235,000 in his career was owned, trained and driven for most of his career by Keith Oliver. A multiple Ontario Sires Stakes winner, Boogie Woogie comes into the program with some riding experience.
Both horses will be assessed before heading to foster.
